Sunday Stash #1: Blueberry Park

It's always nice to add to your fabric stash without affecting the bank balance and that's exactly what happened to me this week.

A new fabric line, Blueberry Park designed by Karen Lewis, was recently introduced by Robert Kaufman Fabrics.  The collection contains 76 fabrics of overprinted Kona Cotton Solids.
Robert Kaufman held a giveaway on Instagram for fat quarter bundles last month.  To enter you must post a picture of your favorite Blueberry Park fabric and hashtag it with MyBlueberryParkFav.  I posted Pickle, one of my Kona solid favorites and one of their 32 new colors introduced in 2014.  The collection contains 303 colors, now, but a new color is coming out in January 2016 bringing the total to a whopping 304 colors.

Much to my surprise, I was one of the 15 lucky recipients that won a fat quarter bundle which arrived this week along with a handwritten note of congratulations.

Thank you Robert Kaufman for your generosity and Karen Lewis for taking Kona Cottons to a new level.  The screen printed designs add just enough interest but are not too busy.  I can't wait to add these to a project.

I would like to invite you back this Tuesday, December 8th when I will share my Triangle Challenge entry for QuiltCon West and on Wednesday, December 9th for the Sew Mama Sew Giveaway Day where I will giving away two Kaffe Fassett charm packs.

I'm linking up for the first time to Sunday Stash #155 with Molli Sparkles.

  1. I had somehow missed the news that there will be a new Kona solid color in January. I am curious why they are only adding one... Congratulations on winning the bundle! I agree that the screen printing adds a lovely interest to each solid, and I'm pleased you got Pickle in the bundle. :)
