Best of 2018

It was so fun to reflect on posts from this past year.  I have chosen posts with the most page views as my Best of 2018.

Click on the title to be taken to the original post.

It was so exciting for the our long-awaited book, Modern Plus Sign Quilts, to be released in February 2018.  Back in March, 43 bloggers helped Cheryl (Meadow Mist Designs) and me share the 16 projects from the book.

Included in the Modern Plus Signs recap post are the links to each quilt in the book and the bloggers who participated in the book blog hop.  Thank you, again, bloggers!

#4 Modern Plus Sampler Quilt Along ➕ Design Reveal

The quilt along is in now in full gear.  The design was revealed back in June with it wrapping up in April 2019.

The page dedicated to the Modern Plus Sampler QAL is here where you will find a link to each month's instructions.

#3 Research Triangle - Curated Quilts Triangle Challenge

It's no secret, I love challenges.  I especially challenges that are small so they do not require a lot of time or resources.

Curated Quilts issues a mini challenge with each issue where the finished piece should be somewhere between 10" and 16" square.

#2 Fandangle Fabric Blog Hop - Cute as a Button Mini

I honored to be asked and had so much fun participating in the Fandangle Blog Hop to celebrate the release of Christa Watson's (Christa Quilts) new fabric line from Benartex.

I made this mini using Cute as a Button from Modern Plus Sign Quilts.

#1 Casting Shadows - Michael Miller Fabric Challenge

Michael Miller Fabrics chose the Our Yard collection as the challenge fabric for QuiltCon 2018 which took place in California this year.

Boy was I surprised to find that my challenge, Casting Shadows, placed 2nd in the challenge.  And look, the ribbon matched perfectly.

Through the years, my "Best of" posts are linked below:

Best of 2017           Best of 2016           Best of 2015

Now head on over to the Best of 2018 Linky Party hosted by Cheryl of Meadow Mist Designs to join in the fun.

  7. It's always good to see your quilts for a second time. I still marvel at the wonderful simplicity of them (most of them), and the precision with which you create. Just marvelous! I'd also love to know how you found your most popular blog posts. I don't think that feature is available in Blogger.
