In Bloom #20 + Lacecap Hydrangea

I spotted this lacecap hydrangea, an unknown variety, on a early morning walk with my mom in her neighborhood.  Of course, I had to stop and admire, and take a photo.  I wish I had one in my yard.

Happy Sunday,

  5. This type of hydrangea is very common in Japan, where it is called "gakuajisai"--framed hydrangea. They are beautiful and are said to be even more beautiful just after the rain!
